The JLT Novices Chase is one of the main races included on the Thursday schedule of the Cheltenham Festival and at the 2022 Prestbury Park festival it will be run on the afternoon of 17 March. A Grade 1 contest, the JLT is decided over 2m 3f and has a history that can be traced back to 2011 when the first running was won by Noble Prince under the ride of Tony McCoy.
